The company also said it would also get 62 mpg, not a bad feat, though no M version is expected.
The Engine for the BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics comes from a 163-hp 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and two electric-motors. That allows for a total of 356-hp and a peak torque of 590 lb-ft. 0-62 mph come in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. Fuel-economy is estimated at 63 mpg while in EV mode, the concept can provide 31 miles of zero-emissions driving.
